Mom, Dad and Miles manned the booth for the farm at Earth Day this year. Miles charmed people, snoozed in the playpen, rode around in the baby backpack and generally had a grand time.

Lots of running, running, running in the past week. Family visits. Errands. It seems like eons since we've had a quiet night at home. I am hoping to slow down this weekend.

Last night we took Miles to his first Kindermusik class. He loves music and so do we. I think he enjoyed it. Lots of singing the kids' names and movement. Playing with bells and shaker eggs. Big pink balls rolling around the floor. Miles gets very excited about other little people since he's not in daycare.

Apparently kids listen better when you sing things to them. I sing to Miles a lot, just because I love to do it and he seems to respond so well.

He crawled all over the room and seemed very interested in another baby, one not mobile yet, named Jack. I think Miles will be a very independent soul from the look of things.
