Miles made the news...
Miles showed up briefly on the news last night. Some reporters came out to interview his dad about the rough farm year--G gets interviewed a lot. Apparently they were smitten with the buddled up little boy in the Baby Jogger and visions of his dad shuffling him, picking turnips, etc.
Today the day started at around 18 degrees. Yes. I said 18 degrees. Last week at this time it was 70 degrees. Not kidding. I went for a walk over lunch and had to shed my sweater (luckily I had a tank top under it). Ah, Missouri. If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes...
I have to confess, the turn of weather has allowed me to begin to put Miles in his cute winter hat collection. Someone should just shoot me now. He has a couple of Hanna Andersson jester's hats, a bear hat with earflaps and a Columbia fleece with ear flaps. I even got him tiny little mittens on a string to go with his Hanna fleece jacket and bunting. I know. I'm insane. I'm also really good at resale shopping so none of it cost much. And the holiday outfits, oh, I can HARDLY WAIT! Reindeer, snowmen, little elf and Santa suits...
